when you get older, you get wiser. you wise up to your own ignorance and stupidity. pored over the map of japan. thank GOD for wikipedia and google. they teach me things my jc geog teacher never taught me. what did i learn from jc geog (which is supposed to enrich my view of the world) ?? very very little. facts and figures and agricultural details of countries are forgotten - especially when they're all down in tiny little sentences that go on and on for pages. what do you get at the end of the day? myopia, dammit, no bird's eye view of regions and places and a thirst for travel...
