akashi kaikyo bridge
donna, i finally found where awaji island is - we passed the bridge joining awaji island to the main island on the way back to the centre, after departing from himeji castle. besides being the longest suspension bridge in the world - 4km long, it was also FRIGGIN COLD .... cause of the wind - near blew the epidermis on my face off.

that bridge brings back memory of being stranded on it in the middle of the night without any one understand me! sobs!
but i've only travelled on it twice. never quite seen it before. like that 'giant' shot of yours.
