kobe family visit!
i managed a quick trip to kobe to meet natsuko and her family!
before dinner, we wandered the wet and rainy streets of kobe and came across a quaint cafe where u participate in your own tea ceremony. here, no one teaches u how to make tea, u are expected to know how to brush up the froth, how to pour hot water into the powered green tea nestled at the bottom of a beautiful crudely crafted bowl.

my completely un-serene attempt at making/drinking japanese tea.
possibly the right way to make/drink tea (natsuko in a zen mood ho ho ho) you have to try to quieten your mind during a tea ceremony

steph... go learn how to make the desserts that accompany the bitter tea.. i really really like the chado whatever they call it
