singaporean bitch-fest

this is a special post to celebrate Singaporeanism, 3 days before our National Day. I am thinking seriously about wearing a red tee, with white pants, and sticking 5 paper stars on my tee shirt on Wednesday. What do you guys think? :P

I love meeting friends from Singapore because i can be bitchy with them and not ruin the reputation of my country - as Mimi puts it whenever we are bordering on overboard, "WE ARE REPRESENTATIVES OF ~ (insert country name), you know?!?!" Everyone has a good laugh after that but we all know that its TRUE, and to a certain extent we need to watch ourselves.. but at least in front of one another we can be more natural.

Japan is a country where hardly anyone says anything remotely negative in a formal situation. so sometimes, we need to depressurise and let alllll the repressed emotion out - in a way that is natively natural and harmlessly fun! some of the girls (khine, shiawjia, gift, mimi and myself) have irregular and impromptu bitch fests behind locked doors, and the fun we have makes me miss my fellow 'bitchy' friends and colleagues (like eddie, and seowboon) in singapore that much more!!

Anyway, I've finally met one singaporean in japan, and that's jason lee. he doesn't like being photographed or being put up for sale on other pple's blogs, so i've decided to post a very special picture of him. Introducing... JASON LEE!!!!!!



he's Singaporean, and just arrived in japan in the early part of this year. he's living in kyoto, studying at kyoto uni... and unfortuately for my sexy sassy single babes out there, he's TAKEN. but i dont think he'll mind if u just take a queue number and send ur resumes in to me. i'll see if i can slot u in as his unpaid housekeeper or permanent hot water boiler (he lives in a house that has a toilet with No ShowerHead - just think of scoop baths, and No Electric Water Heater - Wah Piang eh i think tekong has better facilities than his self-declared 'Cave').

When we met up yesterday, I had soo much fun yesterday learning sooo many 'bad' words in jap! hurhurhur! ask me ask me ask me!!! i'll teach u!!!

Now have to go back to learn boring words like 'Bicycle' and 'Staircase'.
