私の友達は天使です！

私：watashi = I
友達：tomodachi = friends
天使：ten shi = angel
(watashi no tomodachi wa) (ten shi desu!)
(my friends) (are angels!)


i have SAMBAL BELACHAN and CURRY & LAKSA & TOMYAM MIX in my room now. ho ho ho! Christmas came early! i also have a huge pimple popping up on my face because i'm stresssed! hahaha! i haven't been blogging because... i'm stressed. i've been (regularly) going Ballistically Hysterical (read: uncontrollable laughing-till-you-tear fits) for no apparent reason in class because i'm stressed. my teachers have been going, "steph san kyoo wa chotto hen desu ne'' (i think 'hen' means 'kinda 'off'', maybe even cuckoo - jason maybe u'll know better) but the whole sentence is something like: today steph is a little 'off'. heh.

in class today, we were each asked, as part of a speaking exercise, to draw a picture of a present that we would then give to someone in our class. I decided that a certain person from a certain country would do well if she actually saw how a condom looked like so i drew a condom on the piece of paper. and said: watashi wa (friend's name) ni コンドムo katteagemasu! if ur not sure how the word 'condom' sounds like in japanese. its roughly translated as KONDOMU. later, i found out that, contrary to my expectations, she's actually seen a condom before, when she was a child (abt 8yrs old), but called it a 'BALLOON' and Blew It Up! BLEW IT UP and..... it was only when she was in UNIVERSITY that she found out that the 'balloon' was actually a KONDOMU!!!!

i've also, courtesy mr J, gotten hold of a verrry interesting song, called, 'OPPAI' which means BREASTS. there are 2 interesting lines: the first goes - ur breasts are the best in the world. and the second goes - i want to coat all of ur body in mud. HMMmmm.... who ever said that japan was conservative??? my goal is that by next week, i'll memorise the lyrics and be able to sing it solo to anyone i meet! hahahahah!!!! *just joking about the -anyone- part*

anyway, i was only able to uncover the meaning behind the song, thanks to my Tutor, Nohata sensei. Next week, she will be teaching me a song about CATS. one of the lines goes something like this: watashi wa neko ni naritai (I WANT TO BECOME A CAT). isn't japanese a BLAST?!!?!! looking forward to next week. i am starting to luuurrve my individual tutorial time hahahah!!!

its turned COLD here la. Yamada sensei said that there might be a hurricane/typhoon heading our way in the next 2 days. today i was COLD. and mind u i had 2 layers on - 2 long sleeved layers on At The Same Time. AND i was wearing tracy's opaque stockings under my skirt. AND I WAS STILL COLD. the temperature in my room is now 30deg but it feels like 27 instead. the bad weather is playing games with the aircon. i am usually fine with a room temp of 28.

i'm going to in soooooo much trouble in the MINUS FIVE DEGREE temp in Tohoku.
