embarrassing the nation?

this is my friend ayumi.

she lives in the same unit as i do, and along with 6 other gals, we try to get along without pulling out the claws :) ayumi is from okinawa but is in sendai to do her masters. she teaches japanese.


she writes for a magazine in okinawa called 'おきなわJOHO’　and as part of an ongoing column, decided to interview me...



basically its about how i'm adjusting (or not!) to the weather (cold), the teachers (AYF teachers are the best - end of story), and the friends in sendai, and how poor i am at the japanese language, especially kanji, and how sloowly i speak in childish japanese but very quickly in english! there is one inaccuracy, (probably caused by my poor communication skills) it's written that i taught for in a japanese language school in singapore... *horror of horrors, i haven't a clue how THAT part came about?!*

yuppers... well. those of u who know japanese and like doing translation, pls translate and send it back to me so i can send it to pple who are going to scream at me for posting a japanese writeup online. thanks. and oh. i cut out one section on purpose cause its both inaccurate AND dangerous.... ho ho ho!
